An Important Notice Concerning Privacy

At Student Aid Lending, a Koa Financial Company, maintaining our customers' trust and privacy is a high priority. That is why we want you to understand how we protect your privacy when we collect and use information about you, and the measures we take to safeguard that information. This Privacy Notice is from Student Aid Lending, and its affiliates (collectively referred to in this Notice as "we," "our," and "us"), which market and originate education loans. This notice is addressed to United States borrowers ("Borrowers") of education loans for which we are the original lender of record. We may have transferred your loan to a subsequent holder or servicer, in which case you may receive an additional privacy notice from the current holder or servicer of your education loan. In addition, you may receive additional privacy notices in connection with other products and services offered by our marketing partners (other companies, which we do business with and referred to in this Notice collectively as "Marketing Partners").

Information We Collect - As part of providing your education loan, we obtain non-public personal information ("Borrower Information") about you, including: Information we receive from you during the course of the application and loan origination process (such as your name, address, social security number, and income) Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, Marketing Partners, or others; and Information we receive from a consumer credit reporting agency regarding your creditworthiness and credit history.

Disclosure of Borrower Information - In order to originate, process, administer, and manage education loans, and to provide customer service to Borrowers, it is often necessary for us to disclose Borrower Information to other entities. We may disclose the following types of non-public information about you: Information we receive from you on applications or other forms, such as your name, address and telephone number; Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates and Marketing Partners, or others, such as companies that perform services on our behalf, and to the applicable educational institution.

We may disclose non-public information about you to the following types of third parties: Financial service providers, such as mortgage brokers, securities broker-dealers, and insurance agents; Non-financial companies, such as retailers, direct marketers, airlines, and publishers; and Others, such as non-profit organizations.

We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions and or entities with which we have joint marketing agreements or contractual relationships. We may also provide certain Borrower Information to others outside of Student Aid Lending, as permitted by law, such as to government entities or other third parties in response to subpoenas, or to consumer reporting agencies.

If you prefer that we do not disclose non-public information about you to both affiliated and non-affiliated third parties, you may opt out of those disclosures, that is, you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than disclosures permitted by law). Information Security - Only those persons who need Borrower Information to perform their job responsibilities are authorized to have access to it. In addition, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural security measures that comply with federal regulations to safeguard Borrower Information.

Consumer Redress - If you feel that Student Aid Lending is not abiding by this Privacy Policy, you should contact us immediately via e-mail at Optout@StudentAidLending.com

Internet Privacy - In general, we do not collect information from you unless you provide it. If you do nothing during your visit to our website but read or download information, we will record your domain name but not your e-mail address. Other information we collect (such as the number of hits, pages visited, type of browser and length of user session) is used for statistical analysis and to help us make our site more useful.
