Student Aid Lending Sponsors Benefit Dinner
Student Aid Lending recently helped sponsor a benefit dinner in support of the L.A.C.E.S. organization. L.A.C.E.S., which stands for Life And Change Experienced through Sports, is an organization created to establish a mentor-based soccer league for individuals in the war stricken nation of Liberia.
On April 28, 2007, Student Aid Lending sponsored the 1st Benefit Dinner for L.A.C.E.S. at the Grand Piazza in Chicago. The event was a huge success; with a picturesque view of the city, excellent food, fantastic music, and a moving presentation which resulted in L.A.C.E.S. raising $20,060 in a single night!
